Glaucoma Repeat reading scheme (including visual field repeat)

Glaucoma Repeat readings scheme is managed by the LOC Company Primary Eye care Merseyside. For those of you who are part of the current scheme, thank you for yourparticipation.

For those practices not involved, your are requestedd to refer to one of the participating practices (under local referral protocols, as per your GOS contract).

We have had discussions with local the CCG and local hospitals with regard to redirecting any referrals on GOS18's for patients with raised pressures in the absence of any other signs of abnormality and patients with raised pressures and a suspicious visual field not obviously indicative of glaucoma and no other abnormalities.
