Looking after patients with Low Vision

Members are reminded to use the Letter of Visual Impairment for patients with low vision who are not registered as sight impaired (partial sight) or severe sight impaired (blind) who may benefit from referral to social services.

Many patients with visual impairment, including those who are not eligible for registration, may benefit from a home visit from a rehabilitation officer. Their contact details can be accessed here.
