Newly Qualified Performers Interviews
Dear Ophthalmic Contractor,
Please note that to speed up the interviewing process of the recently qualified optoms who have applied to be included in the Ophthalmic Performers' List, Capita Plc have secured extra rooms every day of the week at their four Regus offices in the NHS London Region.
Hence, if your recently qualified optoms have not have had their interview yet, please let me have the details below (at [email protected]) to include them in the list for their interview:

PCSE case reference
Email
Contact telephone number
Geographical area: (NHS North West London Area/NHS North East London Area/NHS South London).
Applicants are asked to bring in the following docs on the day of their interview:
Application form to sign, date and make amendments to if necessary
Curriculum Vitae
Passport
Indemnity Insurance Certificate/Letter from the ophthalmic contractor confirming professional indemnity insurance cover
Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate linked to the update service
Details of registration for the DBS update service
Graduation certificates
Evidence of child protection training (safeguarding level 2 minimum)
Work permit (if applicable)
Police check (if applicable)
Certificate of good standing (if applicable)
Oral language assessment result (if applicable).
Meanwhile, please note that if your optoms have already have had their interview and would like to check on the status of their application, they are to contact Capita Plc in Leeds directly on tel no: 033 3014 2884 quoting their Case Reference.
I would like to reassure you that as soon as the application is sent to the area team for approval it is dealt with as a priority in the sign off process.
