On October 6^th, Nick Rumney and Jessica MacIsaac will be hosting a LipiFlow evening at the Aston Business School. Please see the link below for your invitation.

We will be showcasing our idea to deliver a mobile dry eye service including work-up, LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation treatment for patients with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, and follow-up to interested optometrists and ophthalmologists. There will be a live demonstration of the procedure, and a TearScience consultant present who will be delivering a presentation that is CET accredited (1 point).

We have done this once successfully so far, setting up a small area in a consulting room with Prof Shah at the Midland Eye. Some may wish to refer isolated patients to us in Hereford (Mr Mike Potts from Nuffield Bristol has sent us a few) but we are also interested in those practices or units that might host us coming to them with 3-5 patients. Our target is the sort of practice or unit that is not likely to invest in LipiView II or LipiFlow.
