Central Mersey LOC

Central Mersey Local Optical Committee was formed on 10th January 2007, a merger of 2 previous LOCs, North Cheshire LOC and St Helens and Knowsley LOC.

The LOC serves the interests of GOS registered Optical practitioners in 3 PCTs, Halton & St Helens, Knowsley and Warrington.

The LOC will meet 4 times a year and hold an AGM in late March. The Committee consists of 12 optometrists, 2 FODO representatives and 1 ABDO representative. The LOC has appointed an LOC Adviser and co-opts a HES optometrist.
